Junior partner, Advocate/Legal Counsel

Main areas of interest

Specializes in broadly defined business and tax law, particularly in the context of servicing business entities in their day-to-day operations, as well as planning and carrying out restructuring and implementation of business processes both on Polish and international grounds. She supervises and consults on projects and solutions with particular emphasis on their tax aspects in order to minimize the associated risks, including, among others, in terms of existing reporting obligations. She has many years of experience in planning long-term strategies in the area of transfer pricing, drafting relevant documentation and their reporting. She represents clients in proceedings, in particular: audit, tax and administrative court proceedings.

Provides legal services in English.

Experience

She gained experience through internships in courts, institutions and law firms during her studies. She has been working with Gorazda, Świstun, Wątroba and Partners law firm since 2013, first as an intern, then as a trainee, an independent lawyer, and finally as a Junior Partner. She conducted trainings on the obligation to report tax schemes addressed to specific professional groups as well as business entities.

Education

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Twice awarded a scholarship for academic performance and twice awarded the Rector's scholarship for best students. In the Department of Financial Law, she defended her master's thesis entitled: “Tax aspects of events related to the acquisition of the right of ownership of real estate,” graduating with honors. In 2017, she completed her lawyer's apprenticeship at the District Bar Council in Cracow, passing the professional exam. Since 2022, she has been providing legal services as a legal advisor registered in the list of legal advisors of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Cracow.
