Dawid Szczerba

He specializes in:

* corporate and capital market law mainly in the area related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including in the listed companies sector;

* negotiation of investment agreements and commercial contracts;

* tax law and international tax law, with particular emphasis on the issue of tax efficiency of widely understood restructuring activities, M&A transactions, operation of capital groups and tax planning;

* tax law in the aspect of tax and penal and fiscal proceedings;

* legal service of capital investments, with particular emphasis on the tax aspects thereof.

He is fluent in German, including legal and economic languages. Provides services in both German and English.

He has been with the firm for 15 years. 

Since the beginning of his career, his activity has focused on providing services to entrepreneurs regardless of the form in which they operate. He has carried out dozens of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including cross-border mergers of companies and transactions on blocks of shares of listed companies. He has developed and successfully implemented many concepts of a restructuring nature, in particular based on foreign companies and investment funds, but also domestic solutions in the field of commercial company law and tax law.

Author of training courses and lectures for organizations of entrepreneurs and business people in the field of company law and tax law.

Member of authorities (supervisory bodies) of numerous Polish and foreign business entities (including joint stock companies, Alternative Investment Fund, Privatstiftung, Austrian and German GmbH).

He graduated from the Jagiellonian University’s Faculty of Law and Administration in 2007 after defending his master's thesis entitled: "The disposition of the profit of a joint stock company - the dividend puzzle". Scholarship holder of the Erasmus-Socrates program at the University of Mannheim (2005-2006). Graduate of the School of German Law at the Jagiellonian University.
